The 911 is the most cross-shopped chassis in the world, which means the bid market for a desirable example is sophisticated and the bid market for a tired one is not. Spec matters more here than almost anywhere else. A 992 GT3 with PDK in a hero colour with PCCB and the lightweight package is a different conversation to the same car in white on PCCB, with motorsport seats but no front-axle lift.

Mileage matters, but pattern of use matters more. A 50,000 km Turbo S with a proper service record from one Porsche centre tells a different story to a 30,000 km car with mixed history. Original paint, factory specification, and matching numbers move the number on collectible 911s; on the GT cars, factory front-axle lift, lightweight glass, and the Clubsport or Weissach packs are the deciders.
